Q: What are the benefits of hiring an interim executive?
A: Companies experiencing change or growth often have an urgent need for specific management expertise and can’t commit the time to conduct a traditional executive search. Executives Unlimited provides immediate leadership options without long term obligations. Interim executives are typically contracted for a designated term or project, and the executive is placed on the Executives Unlimited payroll. We process the interim executive’s salary and handle payroll management and all statutory payroll deductions, including workers compensation, federal, and state, and local taxes.
Q: So interim executives actually go on Executives Unlimited’s payroll?
A: That’s correct. These solutions shelter the company from substantial commitment, while allowing them to fulfill their management requirements quickly.
Q: What happens if we hire an interim executive who doesn’t work out?
A: Executives Unlimited stands behind every interim assignment, and is committed to providing superior service and ensuring mutual satisfaction. If either party is not completely satisfied with the arrangement during the assignment period, Executives Unlimited will act immediately to replace the executive.

Q: What are your fees?
A: Fees vary based on the nature of the assignment, but in all cases fees are fixed and agreed upon in advance, regardless of the compensation of the selected candidate. We are only interested in finding the very best candidates for our clients and will not let a higher fee for higher compensated individuals influence who we present. The Managing Director and client discuss the fee during the initial project conferences, and the specific fee structure is then detailed in the client’s contract.
Q: Will you work on a contingency basis?
A: No, we work exclusively on a retainer basis.
Q: How long does it take to fill a position?
A: Executives Unlimited recognizes that an executive position may need to be filled very quickly. As our client testimonials corroborate, we are well recognized for our rapid-tracking searches, which, for interim searches, can produce qualified candidates in a matter of days. Naturally, every situation differs, and a variety of factors can affect the length of a search, but most typically, the timeline for a traditional search is between 12 to 16 weeks.
Q: How many candidates will we interview?
A: It varies based on the nature and complexity of the assignment, as well as our client’s preferences. Such specification decisions can be reached between our client and the Managing Director. Our exacting search and rigorous pre-qualification process ensure that only highly qualified candidates advance to the interview stage, thereby minimizing the time clients spend on interviews. In 90% of cases, our clients hire from the first round of three to five candidates presented.

A: Executives Unlimited has offices across the U.S., which serve as a foundation to our working together as a team to fulfill our clients’ requirements. We solicit professional organizations and executive networks, and we actively source candidates with industry experience. Q: How does Executives Unlimited screen potential candidates?
A: Prior to presenting candidates, Executives Unlimited conducts a stringent screening process, escalating in discernment as the candidate progresses through the search. All candidates are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to ensure all information that is shared remains confidential and protects our clients. Qualifying candidates are further interviewed in-person. Before placement, we conduct a thorough examination of the candidate’s professional history and obtain investigative background checks, covering educational and professional, as well as financial and criminal histories. Q: Does Executives Unlimited provide business consulting services such as transition planning, profiling, and assessments or the like?
A: Our business is executive search but our unique process includes more than just finding qualified candidates to fulfill a particular position. It includes an ongoing relationship and support throughout the entire post-placement/on-boarding process to ensure long term success.
Profiling is a valuable tool when used correctly and with the leadership team. Upon request, we may refer clients to third-party consultants for these services.
